3 nights at Gillside Farm Camping, just above Glenridding. Little spot by the stream and first test of the Portaloo! Swimming in Ulswater and trekked up Helvellyn via Striding Edge and down Swirral Edge. Sunny and cold. Campsite was a brilliant location for heading up to Helvellyn.
Lake District – Brothers Water
2 nights at Sykeside Camping, just down from Brothers Water. Lou went swimming, walked up to Kirkstone Pass, trip to Kendal. Had homemade pizza with Katie Mawson who stayed over in her little van.
Liverpool – checking on Zoom and Norma
Friday night on the drive, helping them out, then a long walk along the beach
